I paint, I read, I paint... and, on occasion, I write...
This journal originally came into being as a result of being mercilessly bullied into it by a friend of mine and, at first, I didn't know what to do with it and it lolled there for a few months, with nothing but the random meme posted on it
Then I stumbled upon LJ fandom!
Now, I had been reading/writing in fandom for a couple of years at this point, but that was merely dipping my toes into the shallows of fanfiction.net and other sites of that ilk. LJ was a totally new experience for me, and one I enjoy hugely.
Of course, I don't think my friend was too happy with me; I believe she was visualising long, deep conversations on the meaning of life and the ills of society (she really should have known better, I don't usually talk politics unless I've drunk copious amounts of alcohol and, by then, I'm too drunk to type!)
I'm an artist by profession, an Irishwoman by nation, and way too bloody old to be be spending my spare time writing fanfiction, but there you go!
Highlander and Doctor Who are my two major loves, but I read and write in a variety of fandoms and I'm a total crossover whore. I also post icons, graphics, manips and layouts on occasion - check the tags in my LJ.
Personal posts are few and far between but they do happen and, once in a blue moon, I actually post some of my original artwork here.
Check out the links below to see my banners, website, resources, etc.
And that's all, folks :-)
Friending Policy: Friend away, no need to ask permission. :-) I nearly always friend back, though, so if you don’t want me to, let me know. I have only one exception to my ‘friending policy’, I don’t friend ‘bookmark’ LJs – journals that are only used for posting or flist reading and have no actual journal content.
